Raised in Rocinha, São Conrado, he built his history in the ocean from an early age.

A barrel rider and bodyboarding enthusiast, he consistently sought out the most demanding challenges. After achieving financial success, he completed 25 consecutive Hawaiian seasons. He earned high respect among professionals due to his technical expertise.

He was one of the pioneers of tow-in surfing in Brazil, exploring giant waves. He raised his children by exposing them to the world's most dangerous breaks: Teahupoo, Pipeline, Puerto Escondido, and others. Today, they are all grown and surf the world’s premier waves together.

Founder of Rasta Hale, he dropped out of law school in his second year.
After living in Hawaii with his brother, his mindset was transformed.
He fell in love with Hawaiian surf culture and the big-wave lifestyle.
He bridged this energy with the Brazilian essence of jiu-jitsu.
He found a life purpose in the sport and the ocean.
He created Rasta Hale to project this philosophy to the world.

Pedro Beta

At 18, he decided not to follow traditional societal patterns in Rio de Janeiro.

Disconnected from academic life and searching for bigger waves, he left home with two surfboards and only the clothes on his back. He chose to live for surfing and freedom.

He built his reputation by facing giant waves across the globe. He earned respect for his technique, courage, and his ability to read the ocean. Today, he is a specialist at Pipeline, one of the most competitive waves on the planet.
